About Me
I am currently pursuing my graduate degree in School Counseling at Lamar University. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Education in EC–6 from Texas A&M University and currently work in education at Medina Valley ISD.
My experience as an educator has helped me understand the importance of supporting students both inside and outside of the classroom. As I continue my journey toward becoming a school counselor, I am passionate about helping students develop academically, socially, emotionally, and in preparation for their future.

My Approach to School Counseling
I believe school counselors should create a safe and supportive environment where every student feels heard, valued, and respected. I believe in meeting students where they are, recognizing their individual strengths, and helping them develop the skills and confidence needed to reach their goals.
I also believe collaboration is an important part of school counseling. Working with students, families, teachers, administrators, and other professionals allows counselors to provide more effective support and advocate for student needs.

My Professional Goal
My goal is to become a school counselor who advocates for students and helps create a school environment where every student has the opportunity to succeed. I hope to build positive relationships with students and provide them with the support, resources, and encouragement they need throughout their educational journey.
